The logistics of an exhibition is organised in strict liaison with the commissioner’s (museum, curator, gallery, fine arts office…) requirements, from the lenders’ contract to the set up going through the choice of carriers (by air, truck or sea), fine art operations, crate construction and hanging.
Gondrand collects and delivers in any part of the world, creates climate controlled and fireproof packing on the spot, performs customs formalities and offers “nail to nail” insurance, storage in climate controlled areas with security systems and a courier service. Gondrand staff are highly specialised; the vehicles used have pneumatic suspension, have climate control and satellite tracking systems.
