Joinery
For correct transport of works of art, they need to be suitably packed; this is why Gondrand has a joinery department, where tailor made crates of any size and shape are made for both overland transport and transport by sea or air.
Our timber:
• 9, 15, 18, 20, 30 mm multi-layer poplar
• 15, 18, 22 mm pine laminate
• Canadian / Russian phenolic, various plywoods.
All the crates are also padded with tar paper, shock absorbers, agglomerate, ethafoam, foam rubber, etc., depending on the type of transport. It is possible to create cages and fire/waterproof crates for all types and sizes of works of art, be they paintings, sculptures or conceptual art.
