Bonded warehousing
Among the many services Gondrand offers, there is also the opportunity to make use of a bonded warehouse.
These requirements offer the opportunity to store goods purchased at a favourable price in a determined period, without paying any customs duty, until the importer deems it opportune to withdraw them declaring the goods to the customs with the related payment of the customs duty due. It is also possible for the good to pass from one owner to another whilst stored in the warehouse, moving the customs obligations from the old owner to the new.
In the event of the good having a non-EU destination, an in transit customs document will simply be issued for withdrawal purposes; this will accompany the good outside the EU and the good will be closed from the last EU customs exit.
The same applies if the good is transferred from Gondrand’s bonded warehouses to another within the EU.
